The Loot!
AreYouAG33k.com is home to an interactive trivia game designed to determine, are you a geek? Go figure, right? Basically, the site revolves around players answering a series of geeky questions while conversing with each other in a chatroom. Based on how well you answer the trivia, your score will reflect your overall geekyness along with your strengths with specific categories.
I do not have all the questions and certainly none of the answers, so it is up to you, the players, to suggest new trivia questions. While I'm not expecting this to become the next qdb.us, it would be nice to become a fun distraction during work.
The Warrant!
This web application was developed primarily in PHP, C++, and Actionscript 3. All of the code (with the exception of the Prototype Javascript library and various Javascript functions) were written 100% in-house. It is currently running on an old Dell Laptop with Debian Linux installed and is powered by Apache, MySQL, Memcached, and eAccelerator.

The Crook.
Hello, World. It's me, St. John Johnson (pronounced: Sin-Jin, it's British), the lone developer and maintainer of AreYouAG33k.com. This website is my graduate final project at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT. I am currently going for my Masters in Computer Science specializing in Web Development, primarily PHP.
Between classes I work as a Graduate Assistant to the University's Information Technology department where I develop ASP.net applications for students and faculty. With my spare time, I work on this website along with trying to post on my own personal site: stjohnjohnson.com. As with any technically inclined student, you can find me on Twitter, StackOverflow, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Amazon.
Do it, Rockapella!
This website is currently in development and running on an old machine, so please be patient with it. I'm not getting paid for this and I'm certainly not going to clutter this site with advertising, so if you would like to help me out take a look at my donation page. If you find any problems, bugs, or vulnerabilities please give me a heads up! And as with all my projects, I'm always open to suggestions!
